Has anyone been buying or considering physical gold & silver?

just trying to get an opinion on owning& possesing physical gold and silver as an investment

whats the best way to buy copper for investment purposes?

I have been looking into copper bullion in the form of 16oz bars on ebay. I worry about drill and fill. I know buying silver and gold in small coins and bars the chances of drill and fill are less likely, is this the same for copper?

Why are Silver Eagle Coins harder to purchase than silver bullion?

I have called Fidelity and Schwab wanting to purchase that specific coin for investment(about 20k worth) and both companies said the coins are not easily purchased. They come available only so often. Bullion can be bought right away.

Well if I was able to purchase them based on face value, for example if old nickels were made of mostly silver… would I then be able to sell them based on their weight in silver? Would this be a good investment?
